Bad Breakup? Girl What's Tea!?

As women, we all crave that healthy, romantic, and long lasting relationship. We would go above and beyond for the man we love, but they can never do the same for us. Eventually, we get fed up as women, and we're left to deal with those emotions alone. Bad breakup? Girl what's tea!?

Understanding The Situation

As a woman, I am well aware of the emotions that follows a breakup. The shame you feel for giving someone a part of you just to get screwed over in return. Trust me though, it gets better. There are several steps I recommend you take in order to move forward.

  1. Come into terms with the breakup and how you are feeling

  2. Identify your wrongdoings and work on them for your next relationship

  3. Find hobbies to get your mind off of the breakup

  4. Girl, I know you lurk, but after the first week (or two...lol) give it a rest. Dead it.

  5. BLOCK HIM ON EVERYTHING, even his fake pages idcidcidc

  6. Do not blame yourself for anything

  7. Make sure you are eating and sleeping. Oh, and drink that water girl!

  8. Get cute. Dress up. Take yourself out. Self-care.

  9. Keep track of your progress with a journal

  10. Love yourself 100 times more than before

  11. PRAY!

These steps are vital in understanding the breakup and why it possibly occurred.

You May Be Wondering Why

A lot of things are better left unsaid. You may be wondering why your relationship didn't work out. That is absolutely out of your control. The goal is to heal and grow from the new trauma your past lover inflicted on you. Girl, let me tell you, men can be assholes. Oh, and they ALWAYS come back. Are you strong enough to keep the door permanently shut? I'm here to tell you that you have to be. Men love a weak link. They know it's easy to manipulate one, and sis, Jada Shantrice does not coach weak links.

Healing

Healing is weird as hell most days. One day you feel like you've made progress. The next day you're shaming yourself because you lurked after that one or two week benchmark was up. It is okay. Remember you are human. Healing is linear. There is no exact time or day the process ends. The goal is to acknowledge your progress and continue to grow. Bad breakup girl? Let's heal!
